Truth.
Not just the non-lies, but the whole truth, nothing but the truth.
Not just the a-e-i-o-u, but the sometimes y.
Not just the black and white, but the gray middle.
Not just the pendulum swing when things don’t add up.
What is it for you? What is it for me?
A foundation for life. The living unto something.
A solid, smooth rock that lets me flow like a river.
An anchor that holds my ship steady in wavy waters.
A word. An idea. A fact. A PERSON.
Truth.
What…who…is truth to you? How do you define truth in your life? Is it abstract and elusive or concrete and definite? What sensations arise when you think of truth?
This month, we are diving into truth as an external overarching canopy, truth as an internal compass and in relationships, staying true to “you” as you navigate who “you” are, and truth as a person…Jesus.
I hope you join us on our pursuit of truth. I hope you are motivated to begin your search. I hope you are inspired to open your mind to new ideas if you think you’ve reached your pinnacle.
Ask the questions and get the answers. Break the fear off and deep dive into worlds unknown and swim around a little.
But no matter how deep you go, wide is always growing. Keep your wonder…keep your open mind…find beauty and humility in the vast unknowing.
Truth is bigger than we can think.
